WOW it's been a while since I've posted here! Wedding and engagement sessions have been more prevalent but I love it when I get a call or email about a gal wanting to give her spouse~to~be or spouse already a FABULOUS gift such as this!

LADIES...really this is not only a gift for your sweets but a gift for you as well!

I'm hoping to do one myself for my 40th B-DAY...

Anyhow enough about that, let's move towards the real deal!

This is Miss S and she just exudes hotness! As a gift for her soon-to-be hubby (at the time of the shoot that is) she called me for an Intimate Moment Session!

We shot in their place and created the mood and vibe with the natural elements in her place. Since she was about to be married we even incorporated her veil and wedding shoes!

I think she is just stunning!

So here she is Miss C! again I have to say this shoot was so much fun! She and Miss S had me laughing during most of the shoot!

I'm thrilled I ws even able to shoot because Miss C had me cracking up every minute. This gal has fab personality. I know normally when you here "they have a great personlity" it means that's all they have, but not when it comes to Miss C! She is gorgeous, curvy, and fabulous; I'm sure her husband loves showing her off to everyone!

The day started with two gals all smiles, some country music and wine flowing. Wine usually seems to be a much needed device to give my ladies a bit of courage. First I have to say they both looked amazing! Their make-up artist Elias Velasco is fabulous; he also did Miss L's make-up as well.

The mood is light and fun. after 10 minutes of chatting and then styling, I'm ready to shoot!

The great thing about this day is their are two gals who give each other support so it really made the day more fun & easy.

Ladies if you are thinking of having a boudoir session, it is ALWAYS more fun when you have a partner in crime!

Without further ado, the fabulous {J-Lo}.... I mean Miss L!

Does she not resemble Jenny on the Block, J-Lo, Jennifer Lopez, I mean Mrs Marc Anthony?!

I actually think she is even more stunning then J on the Block.

The thing I love about {boudoir photography} is knowing that these woman get this moment and time in their life to pamper themselves & feel their absolute best!

I always say how it is SO empowering for them, but even more true it makes me feel good that I am apart of the moment when I know they are vulnerable in the beginning and then I have the honor of watching them become more comfortable in their own skin and in the end proud, confident and beyond just beautiful!

{"Miss A" Loves NY} | Boudoir @ the Avia | Long Beach Boudoir Photography

This lovely gal has become a fast friend of mine. She along with a whole team of wedding vendors collaborated with me on an amazing styled wedding shoot (one we are awaiting approval on publishing).

During the planning process and the hours & days we had spent together we bonded through stories of our pasts, relationship woes & peaks, wedding moments, and travel. Of course most of this has been over a glass, two maybe three of wine.

She wanted to do a boudoir session for someone special in her life and more so for herself. We had a blast shooting this at the Avia Boutique hotel in Long Beach. I love this place... so much that even my hubby and I celebrated our last anniversary there. They have most amazing service and a fabulous view of Long Beach along with plush contemporary rooms!

She has had one of the most craziest years when it comes life's dramas and yet she walks with her head high and in the MOST positive of spirits.

Her positivity is infectious; it's no wonder why I love being around her!

I see bright things in this girls future and look forward to being apart of it as her friend!

Miss A you are so much fun and thanks for having me as your shooter!

I have been dying to post these! I had to wait for my cousin's birthday to pass first though so I could surprise her with the final product.

Jana turned 40. We are just 2 weeks shy from being a year apart.

I couldn't imagine something more fabulous than having a boudoir shoot for your birthday to mark one of those BIG ONE's like turning 40. So I will be doing the same before my 40th as well in the next 11 months.

I really think it is important to embrace ourselves spiritually & physically.

As woman, we need to love ourselves, love our spirits, our minds, our strength, our inner beauty and yes embrace our outer beauty as well!

As woman we are beautiful no matter what shape or our age as long as we have confidence and accept ourselves for who we are~ fabulous woman!

To you Jana~

You are my cousin, my friend, my sister! We have lived a lifetime together and you continue to amaze me. Your positivity and free spirit inspire other to want to enjoy life as much as you!

It has been quite a while since I had boudoir session. I hadn't realized how long until I was prepping for this post and saw my blog was quite mediocre in style, so I hired Hot Bliggity Blog to jazz up and create my new, improved boudoir blog! Thanks Casey for your creativity and EFFICIENCY!!!! Casey took my order and request and produced in less then 12 hours! So I highly recommend her services!!!!

Thanks to Miss Mysterious for booking a bSession; it completely revitalized my soul to shoot boudoir again. I have to admit my favorite sessions are ones that are intimate, uplifting, inspiring, empowering, and emotional! Weddings, engagement sessions, pregnancy and boudoir all fulfill that emotional need and creative drive in me when it comes to shooting!

Weddings are quick pace sessions that last 10 hours and you are on a adrenaline high throughout the day. Boudoir is more like a zen shoot; it's relaxing yet empowering. When you finish with a boudoir session you know your client is leaving feeling better about themselves, more confident, strong, and beautiful! It feels like I just gave them a gift, though I really didn't... it was all them!

So here we have Miss Mysterious, she's dropdead gorgeous and was a bit nervous in the beginning (probably because I had an entourage of photogs with me). She came out of the bathroom looking stunning but feeling very self conscious. After we started shooting and gave her some vino, you could see the confidence begin to build. By the end of the session (2hours), she was empowered! She left with a glow and I know she felt like she was on top of the world!

Due to the nature of the shoot, it was requested I leave out any association to the person of these fabulous curves. So you may think what do we have to work with then? Well..... shoes & details! Shoes, jewelry and details of the lingerie lead to this beautiful boudoir look. There doesn't have to be a face to a shoot to make it beautiful or sexy; this actually creates intrigue and mystery, hence Miss Mysterious!

So I definitely look forward to my next boudoir session and if you are in need of a self-esteem boost, then give me a call and book your boudoir session!!!! You leave feeling like you can do anything ... and by the way ... YOU CAN!!!!

I remember my mom having this red wine glass with "Fabulous @ 40" etched into it; I remember thinking "I better be more than fabulous @ 40". Well I just shot (along w/ my best friend & photog- Charla) this fabulous woman Eva who was more than Fabulous @ 40- she was way more fabulous than a 30 yr old; I now have new standards and GOALS, because she already surpasses my 37 year body! So my 1st question to everyone was how old do you think she is...I'm sure you couldn't have guessed it until this blog... she's Fabulous & 50!!! GO EVA!!!!

I continue to go through the Boudoir party's photos and it is so great how individually beautiful all of these women are, each with their own style, own personality brought out in a unique, intimate situation. I feel pretty good knowing that we captured some beautiful moments with each gal. This is Tati- could she be anymore photogenic! What a doll to work with! She had her shoot along with her 2 other friends Kelly and Becca. At 1st each of them were a bit nervous to be shot while the other 2 would look on, but soon they all warmed up and actually provided the best encouragement!
